【브레이크뉴스 대구 】박은정 기자=  대구시는 ‘젊음과 낭만이 넘치는 동성로’를 주제로 ‘2023 대구 도시디자인 공모전’을 개최한다고 26일 밝혔다.

올해 15회째를 맞이한 ‘대구 도시디자인 공모전’은 도시 속의 공공디자인 활성화를 위해 지난 2009년부터 지속적으로 추진해오고 있다. 

이번 공모전은 대구 대표 거리인 동성로를 대구 시민뿐만 아니라 국내·외 관광객이 즐겨 찾는 명소로 동성로 다운 매력을 갖추기 위한 디자인 아이디어 제안을 받고자 한다.

작품접수는 오는 7월 12일부터 7월 19일까지 이메일 접수이며, 제안된 공모대상지에 공간, 건축물, 시설물, 시각이미지 등 공공디자인 전 부문에 대해 디자인 제안을 받고 독창성, 공공성, 심미성, 실현 가능성 등을 평가하여 총 23점을 선정하게 된다. 

총상금(저작권료 포함)은 2,600만 원으로 대상 수상자에게는 대구광역시장상과 상금 500만 원, 금·은·동·입선 수상자에게도 시장상과 상금이 수여된다.

공공디자인에 관심 있는 일반인뿐만 아니라 전문가도 참여할 수 있는 이번 공모전의 내용 및 기타 자세한 사항은 대구시 홈페이지의 고시공고 및 공모·모집에서 확인할 수 있다. 

권오환 대구시 도시주택국장은 “시민들이 상상하고 제안하는 아이디어를 실현시키고 함께 만들어가는 과정으로 디자인을 통해 새로운 공간을 만들어가는 공모전”이라며 “대구 대표 거리인 동성로를 대상으로 동성로다운 거리를 만들 수 있는 참신한 아이디어 제안에 관심 있는 시민들의 많은 참여를 바란다”고 밝혔다.

The submission of works is by email from July 12th to July 19th, and design proposals are received for all areas of public design, such as space, building, facility, and visual image in the proposed competition site, and creativity, publicity, aesthetics, and feasibility are evaluated. A total of 23 points are selected based on the evaluation.

The total prize money (including copyright fees) is 26 million won, and the Daegu Metropolitan City Mayor's Award and 5 million won prize money are awarded to the grand prize winner, and the mayor's award and prize money are also awarded to the gold, silver, bronze, and prize winners.
