【브레이크뉴스 】박은정 기자=한국건강관리협회(회장 김인원, 이하 건협)는 전북대학교(총장 김동원)와 지난 6일부터 13일까지 캄보디아에 보건의료사업단을 파견해 비전염성질환(NCD) 관리사업을 펼쳤다고 19일 밝혔다.

이번 사업은 2022년부터 2024년까지 총 3년 동안 한국 대외무상원조 전담기관인 한국국제협력단(KOICA, 이사장 손혁상)과 민관협력사업으로 진행되고 있다.

파견된 보건의료사업단은 프렉프노우(Prek Pnov) 현지주민 1,000명을 대상으로 건강검진 제공 및 건강생활습관 개선 설문조사를 진행했으며 본 사업을 통해 지원한 검사장비의 모니터링을 실시했다. 

또 현지사업수행기관과의 간담회를 통해 하반기 사업 운영방안 고도화 모색 등 성과관리를 위한 다양한 활동을 수행했다.

특히 이번 검진은 현지 검사인력과의 합동검사 진행 및 기술 전수로 체계적이고 지속가능한 검진환경 조성에 주력했다.

 건강검진은 프렉프노우 후송병원 방문검진 및 쿡로카 지역주민 출장검진으로 나눠 진행되었으며, 현지 언론취재가 이뤄지는 등 주민들의 뜨거운 반응이 이어졌다.

프렉프노우 후송병원장 Dr. Kao Sophat은 “본 사업을 통해 프렉프노우 후송병원의 건강검진 체계 개선 및 검사결과 정확도 향상을 기대하고 있다. 분석 결과를 바탕으로 지역주민 NCD 유병률 감소를 위해 적극 노력하겠다”고 밝혔다.

건협 김인원 회장은 “현지 검사인력의 자체 검진수행능력을 강화하고, 지역주민의 비전염성질환 인식도를 높여 보건인식 제고 및 건강증진에 기여할 수 있도록 노력하겠다”고 전했다.

In particular, this examination focused on creating a systematic and sustainable examination environment by conducting joint examinations with local inspection personnel and transferring technology.

 The health check-up was conducted in two parts: a visit to the Prekpnow evacuation hospital and a business trip check-up for local residents in Cookroca.

Kao Sophat said, “Through this project, we expect to improve the health examination system and accuracy of examination results at Prekpnow Evacuation Hospital. Based on the analysis results, we will make active efforts to reduce the prevalence of NCD in local residents.”

In-Won Kim, Chairman of the Korea Health Association, said, “We will strengthen the self-examination capability of local inspectors and raise awareness of non-communicable diseases among local residents to contribute to raising health awareness and promoting health.”
