18일 경주엑스포대공원에 따르면 ‘디지털 기반 승강기 통합관제 플랫폼 사업’은 기존 음성 기반의 아날로그식 이용자 신고방식에서 벗어나 AI(Artificial Intelligence)와 IoT(INTERNET of THINGS) 등 4차 산업혁명기술을 적용, 승강기 사고를 미연에 방지하고, 위급상황에 신속·정확하게 대응할 수 있는 기술이다.

이에 따라 오는 21일 공원 내 승강기 6대(문화센터 1, 경주타워 4, 솔거미술관 1)에 IoT기반 지능형 안전장치를 비롯해 GIS(Geographic Information System)기반 승강기 관제시스템, 모바일 기반 상황전파시스템 등으로 구성된 장비를 설치한다.
