24일 공사에 따르면 먼저 오는 29일(토)에는 경주엑스포대공원의 새로운 브랜드 콘서트 1탄 ‘EXCON - HIPHOP DAY’가 백결공연장에서 진행된다.

이번 콘서트는 힙합 씬에서 가장 핫한 아티스트들을 경주에서 만나볼 좋은 기회로, 무엇보다 무대와 관객 사이 거리가 가까워 더욱더 생생하고 박력 있는 공연을 즐길 수 있다.

이어 여름 시즌 이벤트로 워킹스루 호러 ‘루미나 호러나이트’의 업그레이드 버전 ‘EX HORROR’가 8월 한 달간 진행된다.

새로운 스토리와 연출은 물론, 코스를 전면 재단장 하여, 지난 3년간 루미나 호러나이트를 즐겨온 체험객들도 새로운 기분으로 오싹한 여름밤을 즐길 수 있도록 구성된다.

또한 더 강한 자극과 공포를 원하는 체험객들을 위해, 작년에 호평 받은 '야외에서 즐기는 실내 호러 시설'을 확대 설치할 예정이다.

가을 시즌에는 경주엑스포대공원의 최고 인기 이벤트 ‘루미나 해피할로윈’이 ‘EX HALLOWEEN’으로 새롭게 태어난다.

호박과 장식 조명으로 환상적으로 연출 된 화랑숲을 걷다 보면 다양한 할로윈 캐릭터들이 체험객들에게 즐거움을 선사해 준다.

또한 실시간 코스 안전 CCTV 모니터링으로 군중 밀집을 방지하고 구역별 안전요원 배치를 통해 안전한 체험이 되도록 할 예정이다.

10월 12일과 13일에는 ‘2024년 반려견 페스티벌’이 화랑광장에서 펼쳐진다. 이 행사는 반려인구 증가에 따른 성숙한 반려동물 문화 조성과 천연기념물인 토종개의 가치 제고를 위해 마련됐다.

반려견 교감 스포츠 놀이터, 토크 콘서트, 영상 및 사진 콘테스트, 교육 프로그램 등 반려견과 함께 할 수 있는 다양한 맞춤 콘텐츠가 진행된다.

11월 9일에서 11일에는 실크로드 문화권 국가들의 면 요리를 한자리에서 맛 볼 수 있는 ‘K실크로드 누들 페스티벌(가제)’이 개최된다.

행사장은 K실크로드 누들 컬쳐존, K실크로드 푸드 트럭존, K실크로드 전통 게임존으로 구성된다.

중국의 뱡뱡면, 일본의 하쿠타쿠 우동, 아제르바이잔의 Yarpag Khengeli 등 다양한 식문화 체험을 통해 민간교류를 활성화하고, 동서양 문화 화합의 장으로서 경주의 위상을 되살리고자 한다.

지난 5월 일본 최대 한류 이벤트 ‘KCON’ 공식 파트너 출점을 시작으로 7월 신비아파트 경주엑스포대공원 애니메이션 방영 등, 다양하고 적극적인 홍보도 의욕적으로 실시할 계획이다.
