【브레이크뉴스 경주】이성현 기자=경주엑스포대공원 솔거미술관은 경주지역에서 활동하는 작가들의 작품을 한자리에서 만나볼 수 있는 ‘경주미술인 선정작가’展 1부 전시를 오는 5일부터 12월 25일까지 개최한다고 5일 밝혔다.

이번 전시는 경주지역을 중심으로 활동하는 역량 있는 작가들을 대상으로 공모를 실시해 선정된 작가들의 전시를 지원하며 지역 문화예술 활성화에 기여하기 위해 마련됐다.

선정된 작가는 박선영과 박수미, 김정자와 이연균 4명이다. 박선영과 박수미 작가의 작품이 1부 전시로 소개되고 김정자와 이연균 작가 작품이 2부 전시로 이어진다.

박선영 작가는 서울과 경주에서 개인전 6회, 기획초대전 50회, 단체 및 해외교류전 300여회의 경력을 가지고 있으며, 올해(2022) 일본 나카츠시 기무라기념미술관 레지던지 작가로 활동 중이며 이번 전시에는 ‘푸른 사유·빛’이라는 전시명으로 작품을 선보인다.

박수미 작가는 11회의 개인전과 아트스테이1930 (잇다스페이스/인천), 팬데믹에서 작가로 살아간다는 건 (한영아트센터/대구), 삶에 묻다 (달리미술관/부산) 등 다수의 전시를 통해 작품의 가치를 인정 받고 있다.

1부 전시에 이어 12월 28일부터 내년 2월 26일까지 ‘김정자, 이연균’ 작가의 2부 전시가 이어진다.

김정자 작가는 경북미술대전, 신라미술대전, 한국현대여성미술대전 초대작가, 한국여류화가협회, 한국미술협회, 경북창작미술협회 회원으로 활동 중이다.

뉴욕 K&P갤러리를 비롯 서울, 대구, 경주 등에서 12회의 개인전을 가졌으며, 아트페어 10회, 400여회의 국내외 그룹전 및 초대전의 경력을 갖고 있다. 전국 공모전 우수상 및 특입선 23회 수상, 경북도청 신청사 도의회 공모 100호 당선 등 실력을 인정받고 있다. 이번 전시에는 ‘inner mind 공간여행’이란 전시명으로 참여한다.

이연균 작가는 개인전 8회를 비롯 150여회의 그룹전의 경력을 갖고 있으며, 이번 전시에는 ‘있는-이연규’이라는 전시명으로 관람객들과 만난다.

류희림 경주엑스포대공원 대표는 “이번 전시는 지역 작가들의 적극적인 작품 활동을 지원하고 우리지역 미술을 한 단계 발전시킬 수 있는 기회가 될 것”이라며 “지역미술을 조명할 수 있는 다양한 지원사업과 기회전시를 꾸준히 마련하겠다”고 말했다.

The works of artists from Gyeongju will be displayed at the Solgeo Museum of Art.

Gyeongju Expo Grand Park Solgeo Art Museum announced on the 5th that it will hold the first part of the ‘Gyeongju Artists Selected Artists’ exhibition from the 5th to the 25th of December, where you can see the works of artists active in Gyeongju in one place.

The four selected artists are Park Seon-young and Park Soo-mi, and Kim Jung-ja and Lee Yeon-kyun. The works of artists Sunyoung Park and Sumi Park will be introduced in the first part, and the works of artists Jungja Kim and Yeongyun Lee will be displayed in the second part.

Park Seon-young has a career of 6 solo exhibitions in Seoul and Gyeongju, 50 special invitation exhibitions, and 300 group and overseas exchange exhibitions. The work is presented under the exhibition title 'Light'.

Artist Park Soo-mi has participated in 11 solo exhibitions, Art Stay 1930 (Connect Space / Incheon), Living as an Artist in a Pandemic (Hanyoung Art Center / Daegu), and Asking Life (Dali Museum of Art / Busan). The value of the work is recognized.

Following the first part of the exhibition, the second part of the exhibition by artist Jung-Ja Kim and Yeon-Kyun Lee will be held from December 28 to February 26 next year.

Kim Jung-ja is an invited artist in the Gyeongbuk Art Exhibition, Silla Art Competition, and Korea Contemporary Women's Art Competition, and is a member of the Korean Women Artists Association, the Korean Art Association, and the Gyeongbuk Creative Art Association.

She has held 12 solo exhibitions in Seoul, Daegu, Gyeongju, etc. including K&P Gallery in New York, 10 art fairs, and 400 domestic and foreign group exhibitions and invitational exhibitions. She has been recognized for her skills, such as winning the National Competition Excellence Award and Special Selection 23 times, and winning the 100th public contest at the Gyeongbuk Provincial Office New Office Provincial Council. In this exhibition, she participates in the exhibition titled 'Inner mind space travel'.

Artist Yeon-kyun Lee has a career in 150 group exhibitions, including 8 solo exhibitions, and in this exhibition, she meets with visitors under the exhibition title 'There is-Lee Yeon-gyu'.
