【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구광역시행복진흥사회서비스원은 경북행복재단과 협력해 경북지역 취약계층에 겨울나기 물품을 전달했다고 15일 밝혔다.

지난 10일 명지현 학술원(대표 이승남) 및 ㈜에프엔비글로벌(대표 최재규)이 후원한 300채(1천만 원 상당)의 요매트와 메모리폼 중 약 150채가 취약계층에 전달됐다.

이번 지원은 대구·경북의 통합 정신을 바탕으로 두 지역 간 상생 협력을 실현하며, 복지 사각지대에 있는 이웃들에게 따뜻한 겨울을 선물하기 위해 추진됐다.

전달된 물품은 경북행복재단을 통해 경북지역 각지의 복지시설 및 취약계층에게 우선적으로 배포됐다. 어려운 이웃들이 한파 속에서 따뜻하고 안락한 환경에서 겨울을 보내는데 도움이 될 것으로 기대된다.

배기철 대구행복진흥원 이사장은 “경북행복재단과의 교류를 확대하고, 대구경북 통합과 양 지역 주민의 행복 증진을 위한 협력 사업을 지속적으로 추진하겠다”고 밝혔다.

Bae Ki-cheol, Chairman of the Daegu Happiness Promotion Agency, said, “We will expand exchanges with the Gyeongbuk Happiness Foundation and continue to promote cooperative projects to integrate Daegu and Gyeongbuk and promote happiness for residents of both regions.”
