【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구행복진흥사회서비스원 학교밖청소년지원센터가 ‘제12기 꿈드림 청소년단’ 출범식을 열고, 학교 밖 청소년의 정책 참여를 본격적으로 확대한다.

센터는 14일 대구광역시청소년문화의집에서 열린 위촉식에서 신규 단원들에게 대구광역시장 권한대행 명의의 위촉장을 전달했다. 

단원들은 앞으로 지역회의와 정책토론, 봉사활동 등에 참여하며 학교 밖 청소년의 권리 실태를 조사하고, 개선 방안을 제안하는 역할을 맡는다.

꿈드림 청소년단은 학교 밖 청소년이 직접 정책을 제안하고 권리 침해 사례를 발굴하는 참여형 기구다. 센터는 지난해 전국 17개 시·도 평가에서 우수청소년단에 선정된 경험을 바탕으로 올해 단원들의 자율성과 현장 참여를 한층 강화한다는 계획이다.

올해 선발된 제12기 단원들은 지역사회와 관계기관을 이어주는 소통 창구로서 현장 목소리를 전달하고, 정책 반영을 위한 다양한 의제를 발굴할 예정이다.

센터 관계자는 "청소년단이 주도적으로 참여해 의미 있는 변화를 이끌어가길 기대한다"며 "학교 밖 청소년들이 당당하게 성장할 수 있도록 지속적으로 지원하겠다"고 말했다.

The Dream Youth Corps is a participatory organization where out-of-school youth directly propose policies and identify cases of rights infringement. Based on its experience of being selected as an outstanding youth corps among 17 cities and provinces nationwide last year, the Center plans to further strengthen the autonomy and field participation of its members this year.

The members of the 12th cohort, selected this year, will serve as a communication channel connecting the local community with relevant agencies to convey voices from the field and identify various agendas for policy reflection. "We hope the youth group will take the lead in driving meaningful change," a center official said. "We will continue to provide support so that out-of-school youth can grow up confidently."
