신청 대상은 대구시에 거주하는 19세 이상 성인 중 기초생활수급자, 차상위계층, 한부모가족 지원 대상자 등이다. 여기에 만 65세 이상 노인과 만 30세 이상 성인도 신청이 가능하다.

행복진흥원 관계자는 “시민 누구나 원하는 교육을 받을 수 있도록 지원하는 것이 이번 사업의 취지”라며, “앞으로도 평생학습의 기반이 더욱 확대되길 기대한다”고 말했다.
