50사단은 오는 4월 6일부터 10일까지 5일간 ‘2026년 화랑훈련’을 진행한다고 밝혔다.
이번 훈련은 민·관·군·경·소방이 공통된 작전 개념을 공유한 가운데 통합훈련을 통해 작전계획을 검증하고, 유사시 기관별 조치 상황과 가용 전력에 대한 작전통제 전환 절차를 숙달하는 데 목적이 있다. 또한 국가 방위 요소가 참여하는 전투 임무 중심의 행동화 훈련을 통해 실질적인 임무 수행 능력을 강화할 계획이다.
