이번에 발의된 개정 조례안은 생활 및 주거 여건이 변화하여 취락형태와 주민 요구가 다양해짐에 따라, 현지 실정에 맞게 리·통·반의 설치 기준을 정비하고자 발의됐다.

개정 조례안은 리·통·반의 설치 기준 단서조항을 개정하는 것으로 리·통은 4개반 이상 6개반 이하로 구성하고 다만 자연마을, 취락형태, 공간구성 등을 고려하여 현지 실정에 맞게 조정할 수 있다는 것이 주요 내용이다.

김태희 의원은 “이번 조례를 통해 주민 편의를 도모하고 더 살기좋은 삶의 터전을 마련하는 계기가 되길 바란다”고 개정취지를 밝혔다.
