【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=영진전문대학교가 제10기 공군 부사관학군단 임관식을 25일 공군 교육사령부 이순신관에서 개최했다. 

이번 임관식에서는 12명의 후보생이 공군 정비부사관으로 정식 임관했다.

이날 행사에는 권영민 공군 교육사령관과 박종백 영진전문대 부총장, 학군단 교수진, 학부모 등 100여 명이 참석해 자리를 빛냈다. 임관식은 임관사령장과 계급장 수여, 임관 선서, 축사와 훈시 순으로 진행됐다.

임관생들은 3학기 동안 전공 교육과 군사학 과정을 병행하며, 방학 중에는 공군 교육사령부에서 9주간의 기본군사훈련도 마쳤다. 특히 항공기 정비 분야 실무 교육을 통해 공군 정비부사관에 필요한 전문성을 갖췄다는 평가를 받았다.

수상자도 눈에 띄었다. 고가은 하사(21·항공기기체정비)는 국방부장관상을, 최선우 하사(21·항공기기체정비)는 공군참모총장상을, 서혜선 하사(21·항공기기체정비)는 공군교육사령관상, 그리고 김준형 하사(23·항공전자전장비정비)는 기본군사훈련단장상을 각각 받았다.

영진전문대 공군 부사관학군단은 지난 2015년 전국에서 유일하게 공군 부사관학군단으로 문을 열어 항공정비 분야에 특화된 전문 부사관 인력을 꾸준히 배출하고 있다.

대학 관계자는 “이번 임관을 통해 공군 현장 정비 인력의 수급과 항공정비 역량 강화에 큰 도움이 될 것으로 기대한다”고 밝혔다.

Yeungjin College held the 10th Air Force Non-Commissioned Officer Training Corps commissioning ceremony on the 25th at the Yi Sun-sin Hall of the Air Force Training and Education Command.

At this ceremony, 12 cadets were officially commissioned as Air Force Maintenance Non-Commissioned Officers.

Approximately 100 people attended the ceremony, including Air Force Training and Education Command Commander Kwon Young-min, Yeungjin College Vice President Park Jong-baek, ROTC faculty, and parents. The ceremony consisted of the presentation of commissioning orders and rank insignia, the oath of office, congratulatory remarks, and instructions.

The commissioned cadets completed three semesters of specialized education and military science courses, and also completed nine weeks of basic military training at the Air Force Training and Education Command during vacation. They were particularly recognized for their practical training in aircraft maintenance, which provided them with the expertise necessary for Air Force Maintenance Non-Commissioned Officers.

The award recipients also stood out. Staff Sergeant Ko Ga-eun (21, Aircraft Maintenance) received the Minister of National Defense Award, Staff Sergeant Choi Seon-woo (21, Aircraft Maintenance) received the Air Force Chief of Staff Award, Staff Sergeant Seo Hye-seon (21, Aircraft Maintenance) received the Air Force Education and Training Commander Award, and Staff Sergeant Kim Jun-hyung (23, Aviation Electronic Warfare Equipment Maintenance) received the Commander of the Basic Military Training Group Award.

Yeongjin College's Air Force Non-Commissioned Officer Academy, the only non-commissioned officer academy in the country established in 2015, has consistently produced specialized non-commissioned officers in the field of aircraft maintenance.

University officials stated, "We expect this appointment to be a significant contribution to the supply and demand of Air Force maintenance personnel and to strengthening aircraft maintenance capabilities."
