한국부동산원(원장 손태락)은 3월 31일 안양시(시장 최대호)와 자율주택정비사업 활성화를 위한 업무협약(MOU)을 체결했다.

이번 업무협약은 지역전문가를 양성하여 대민행정의 효율성을 높이고,실거주자 중심의 자율주택정비사업을 적극 활성화하기 위해 체결됐다.

기존 도시재생사업은 복잡한 사업절차와 주민공동체의 해체, 외지인의투기성 지분 쪼개기 등의 문제가 지적되어왔으며, 안양시의 경우 자율주택정비사업 수요 대비 관련분야 전문 교육이부족해대민행정에 애로사항을 호소해왔다.

이에 한국부동산원과 안양시는 이번 협약을 통해 ‘자율주택정비사업활성화 지원’ 및 ‘지역전문가 양성 교육프로그램’ 운영을 공동으로 추진할 계획이며, 한국부동산원은 현장중심의 교육 프로그램 개발과 교육 담당 강사선발등을 지원하게 된다.

현재 한국부동산원은 자율주택정비사업 상담·접수, 사업성 분석, 인허가 지원, 착공 및 준공, 청산 등 자율주택정비사업에 대한 통합지원 업무를 수행하고 있다.

한국부동산원 손태락 원장은 “이번 업무협약을 통해 지역전문가 양성을 적극 지원하고, 지역 노후저층 주거지 환경개선에 이바지 할 수 있을 것”이라며, “앞으로도 유관기관과 지속적인 협력관계를구축해 자율주택정비사업 활성화에 기여할 것”이라고 했다.
