한국장애인고용공단(이하 공단)은 삼성중공업과 협력해 ‘삼성중공업 사내협력사 특별채용 장애인 훈련생 면접’을 실시했다고 25일 밝혔다.
선발된 훈련생들은 공단 대구직업능력개발원과 부산직업능력개발원에서 5주간의 훈련을 거쳐 오는 5월 10일에 정식 입사할 예정이다.
삼성중공업 사내협력사와 공단은 지난 2005년 1사 1장애인 착한 고용 추진을 위한 업무협약을 체결하여올해까지 18년간 고용이 어려운 상황에서도 꾸준한 장애인 고용으로 이어져 많은 장애인 훈련생이 취업에 성공했다.
대구직업능력개발원 김태양 원장은 “어려운 상황에도 장애인 취업의 문을 꾸준하게 열어준 삼성중공업에 감사드린다"며,"우수한 장애인 인력 양성을 위해 직업훈련 강화에 힘쓰겠다.”고 밝혔다.
