DGB금융그룹, 국내 금융사 중 ESG 랭킹 1위
4분기 종합순위 15위→10위로 도약...투명한 지배구조 확립 노력 인정받아

【브레이크뉴스 대구】박은정 기자=DGB금융그룹(회장 김태오)은 2022년 4분기 ‘한국 ESG 랭킹 120’에서 종합순위 10위, 금융사 중 1위에 선정됐다고 9일 밝혔다.
‘한국 ESG 랭킹 120’은 한경ESG가 미국 ESG솔루션기업 ‘CSR Hub’와 제휴해 국내 기업의 ESG 평가를 한눈에 볼 수 있도록 만든 평가지표로 평가 데이터를 보유한 국내 523개 기업을 대상으로 한다.
CSR Hub는 MSCI, 서스테이널리틱스, 아라베스크, FTSE 러셀, S&P 글로벌, 무디스, ISS 등 800여 개 ESG평가기관의 결과를 종합해 전 세계 5만 2천여 개 기업의 컨센서스 점수를 제공한다.
DGB금융그룹은 지난 2분기 실시한 첫 평가에서 종합순위 15위, 금융지주 중 1위에 선정된 이후 이번 4분기 평가에서도 ESG 경영 실천 노력을 인정받아 종합순위가 다섯 계단 상승했다.
특히 지배구조 부문에서 전체 순위 5위에 선정돼 국내 금융지주 최초 부패방지경영시스템(ISO37001) 인증 획득 등을 통한 내부통제 체계 강화, 금융권 최초 CEO 육성 및 승계 프로그램 도입 등 건전하고 투명한 지배구조 확립을 위한 그간의 노력을 인정받았다.
