【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자=DGB금융그룹(회장 황병우)은 지난 27일 개최한 임시주주총회에서 상호변경에 대한 정관 개정을 결의하고 오는 6월 5일부터 ‘iM뱅크’로 사명을 변경한다고 28일 밝혔다.
비은행 계열사 역시 전날 각각 임시주주총회를 개최하고 정관 개정을 승인했으며, 하이투자증권은 iM증권, DGB생명은 iM라이프생명보험, DGB캐피탈은 iM캐피탈, 하이자산운용은 iM에셋자산운용으로 변경된다. DGB유페이, DGB데이터시스템, DGB신용정보, 하이투자파트너스도 iM을 사용한다.
단, 하이투자증권은 일반주주총회 소집을 위한 내부 절차에 따라 정관 변경을 진행할 예정이다. 또한 뉴지스탁은 핀테크 기업의 특성을 살려 기존 사명을 유지하되, 신규 CI를 적용해 그룹 브랜드와 일체화할 계획이다.
DGB금융그룹은 전국구 영업망을 갖춘 시중금융그룹으로 탈바꿈하는 만큼 그룹 위상에 맞는 브랜드 정립과 그룹 일체화를 통한 전국 기업 이미지 제고를 위해 계열사 사명을 변경하기로 했다고 설명했다.
DGB금융그룹 황병우 회장은 “국내 최초 지방은행에서 32년 만의 새로운 시중은행이 탄생하며 시중금융그룹으로서 날개를 펼치기 위한 전 계열사의 일체화된 브랜딩에 주력하고 있다”라며 “향후 그룹 차원의 브랜드 전략을 효율적으로 운용하고 수도권의 iM 브랜드 홍보 효과를 극대화하기 위해 다양한 노력을 기울일 것”이라고 말했다.
한편, DGB금융그룹은 정관 변경 시행일인 오는 6월 5일 DGB대구은행 본점에서 그룹 NEW CI 선포식 및 은행 사명 변경에 따른 간판 제막식을 진행할 예정이다.
