【브레이크뉴스 】박은정 기자=DGB금융그룹(회장 김태오)은 ‘대한민국 디지털 인재 양성 프로젝트, IT’s DGB, IM Challenger’ 본선을 개최했다고 23일 밝혔다.

이번 경진대회는 DGB금융그룹이 금융감독원, 구글, 마이크로소프트, AWS와 함께 ESG 경영 강화의 일환으로 지역의 우수한 디지털 인재를 육성하기 위해 올해 처음 실시됐다. 

지난 9월 말부터 수도권을 제외한 전국 대학(원)생 및 청년을 대상으로 예선 접수를 시작해 디지털 기술을 적용한 금융 관련 서비스 및 상품 아이디어를 모집했다. 

참가신청서를 제출한 46개 팀을 대상으로 서류심사를 진행했으며, 15개 팀이 본선에 진출, 현장 경쟁 PT를 통해 최종 8개 팀(28명)이 선발됐다. 

8개 팀에 대해서는 1개월간 구글, 마이크로소프트, AWS의 집중 교육 및 4개월간 연구 프로젝트를 거쳐 최종적으로 내년 6월 파이널 라운드에서 경쟁을 펼칠 예정이다. 

향후 파이널 라운드에서 입상하는 청년들에게는 DGB금융그룹 입사 지원 우대 혜택을 주고, 대상 팀(금융감독원장상)에게는 상금 1,000만 원과 글로벌 IT 기업의 본사를 견학하는 특전을 제공한다.

 최우수·우수 팀(DGB금융그룹 회장상)에게는 각각 500만 원, 300만 원의 상금을 지급한다. 

김태오 회장은 “ESG 경영을 실천하고 있는 DGB금융그룹이 지역 청년들을 디지털 인재로 육성하는 것은 사회적 책임이자 필수 과제”라며 “앞으로도 청년들에게 성장과 도전의 기회를 제공하기 위해 최선을 다할 것”이라고 밝혔다.

Young people who win prizes in future final rounds will be given preferential benefits for applying to join DGB Financial Group, and the grand prize team (Financial Supervisory Service Award) will receive a prize of 10 million won and the privilege of visiting the headquarters of a global IT company.

 Prizes of 5 million won and 3 million won will be given to the best and best teams (DGB Financial Group Chairman Award), respectively.
