대경대학교에 따르면 대학은 지난달 28일과 29일, LINC3.0사업의 일환으로 2022학년도 캡스톤디자인 경진대회 및 작품전시회를 개최하여 동물사육복지과 등 19개 학과(전공)의 캡스톤디자인 37개 과제 결과물 전시·체험·공연 부스를 운영했다.

캡스톤디자인은 실무형 융·복합 인재 양성을 위한 프로그램으로 전공 학생들이 전공 지식을 바탕으로 산업체 또는 사회에서 필요로 하는 작품을 스스로 설계·기획·제작하여 수행하는 '종합창작설계' 교과목이다.

캡스톤디자인 경진대회 결과, 동물사육복지과 팔루다리움팀이 대상을 차지하는 영예를 안았다.

또한 최우수상은 관광크루즈승무원전공 B&B팀과 동물사육복지과 비바리움조팀이 수상하였고 우수상은 분장예술과 FACE-OFF팀, 안경광학과 안경장인팀, 세계주류양조과 Brewed For Us팀이 수상의 영예를 거머쥐었다.
