【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대경대 창업보육센터가 2022년 지자체 연계 청년예비창업가육성사업을 통해 지역청년 CEO 6명을 배출했다고 21일 밝혔다.

대학에 따르면 청년예비창업가육성사업은 경산시 및 청도군의 지원을 받아 진행되는 사업으로 대경대는 해당사업을 통해 지난 2017년부터 지금까지 41명의 청년창업자를 배출하여 지역의 창업생태계 조성에 기여하고 있다.

사업에 참여한 예비창업가들은 안정적 창업기반 정착을 위한 창업활동지원금 지급 및 창업초기 온라인강좌, 실전 창업교육, Skill-Up 창업교육, 1대1 창업 멘토링 등의 프로그램을 제공받았다.

이를 통해 경산시 4명, 청도군 2명의 지역청년 CEO가 배출되었다. 특히 이번에 사업에 참여한 청년CEO 유메타랩 서승완 대표의 ‘메타머스 조선(Metaverse Joseon)’이라는 아이템은 조선시대를 배경으로 한 오픈월드 기반 생활형 메타버스로, 많은 인원이 가상 조선시대 한반도에 동시 접속하여 조선시대 인물로서 제 2의 삶을 향유하고, 역사적 현장의 ‘참여자’로서의 체험을 가능하게 하는 것이 특징으로 사업의 성장성이 기대된다.     

대경대 김옥미 산학협력단장(창업보육센터장)은 “창업을 시작하는 청년들의 용기와 노력에 응원을 보내고, 청년들의 창업을 지속적으로 지원해 창업의 꿈을 실현하고 성공에 보탬이 되도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
