지난 28일, 대구광역자살예방센터에서 대경대학교 학생 진로 심리상담센터 조중현 센터장, 대구광역자살예방센터 이종훈 센터장을 비롯한 각 기관 상담사들이 참석한 가운데 협약식이 개최되었다.
협약은 ▶자살 예방 캠패인 운영 ▶양 기관 주최 기념행사 ▶온‧오프라인 정신건강 홍보 사업 등에 대한 양 기관의 협력을 주요 골자로 한다.
이와 함께 양 기관은 대구에 주소지를 둔 대경대 재학생을 위한 전문 상담 및 치료적 개입 지원과 지속적인 상호 발전 및 우호 증진 도모를 약속했다.
대경대학교 이채영 총장은 “금번 대구광역자살예방센터와의 협약을 통해 본교 재학생들의 정신건강을 위한 치료적 지원 기반을 구축할 수 있게 되어 의미있게 생각한다.” 며 “앞으로 양 기관의 상호 협력적인 관계를 잘 유지하여 서로에게 큰 지지자원이 될 수 있기를 기대한다.”고 말했다.
