이번 평가로 안동의료원은 경북도 지역응급의료기관 22개소 중 1위, 전국 234개소 중 50위를 기록했다.

'2023년도 응급의료기관평가'는 전국 권역응급의료센터와 지역응급의료센터, 지역응급의료기관을 대상으로 필수영역, 안전성, 효과성, 환자중심성, 공공성 등의 세부항목을 평가했다.

안동의료원은 시설, 장비, 인력의 필수영역을 충족하고, 평가 항목 중 안전관리의 적절성, 전원의 안전성, 중증응급환자진료의 적절성, 응급의료 질 관리 체계의 적절성, 이용자 편의성, 환자 만족도 조사 등의 항목에서 만점을 받았다.

이국현 안동의료원장은 “앞으로도 필수의료 안전망으로서 응급의료기관의 역할을 수행하고 최상의 응급 의료 서비스를 제공하기 위해 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.
