안동의료원은 최근 한국미래농업연구원, 한국국학진흥원 에 이어 경상북도호국보훈재단 과 업무협약(MOU)을 체결하며 지역 협력 기반을 잇달아 구축했다.
이번 협약은 지역민 건강 증진과 질병 예방을 도모하는 동시에 기관 간 교류를 확대해 임직원 복지 향상을 꾀하기 위해 추진됐다. 협약에 따라 각 기관은 건강 증진 사업과 관련 홍보 활동에 공동 참여하고, 시설 상호 이용 및 인적 교류 활성화를 통해 상호 발전을 도모할 계획이다.
특히 안동의료원은 협약기관 임직원과 가족을 대상으로 종합건강검진, 비급여 진료비, 장례식장 이용료 할인 등 의료 복지 혜택을 제공해 공공의료기관으로서의 사회적 역할을 강화할 방침이다.
또한 경상북도호국보훈재단과의 협력을 통해 보훈 관련 행사와 연계한 의료 지원 체계를 확대하고, 재단 임직원 및 가족에게 맞춤형 건강검진 등 의료 서비스를 우선 제공할 예정이다.
이국현 원장은 “유관기관과의 협력은 공공의료기관이 지역사회와 함께 성장하기 위한 중요한 기반”이라며 “앞으로도 협력 네트워크를 지속적으로 확대해 지역민이 체감할 수 있는 수준 높은 의료 서비스를 제공하겠다”고 밝혔다.

Following recent agreements with the Korea Institute for Future Agriculture and the Academy of Korean Studies, Andong Medical Center has successively established a foundation for regional cooperation by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Gyeongsangbuk-do Patriotic and Veterans Foundation.
This agreement was pursued to promote the health of local residents and prevent disease, while simultaneously seeking to improve employee welfare by expanding exchanges between the institutions. Under the agreement, each institution plans to jointly participate in health promotion projects and related publicity activities, and to foster mutual development through the mutual use of facilities and the activation of personnel exchanges.
In particular, Andong Medical Center intends to strengthen its social role as a public medical institution by providing medical welfare benefits to employees and their families of the signatory institutions, including discounts on comprehensive health checkups, non-covered medical expenses, and funeral home usage fees.
