【브레이크뉴스 경북】이성현 기자=경북문화관광공사(사장 김남일, 이하 공사)는 7월 한 달간 경북관광기업지원센터에서 관광 분야 취‧창업 희망자 및 관광업계(예비, 기존) 재직자, 다문화가정 등 경북도민을 대상으로 진행한‘2024 경북형 K-관광 종합 아카데미’가 성황리에 막을 내렸다고 31일 밝혔다.

이번 아카데미는 총 4개 과정 관광숙박업,여행사, 축제‧이벤트, 다문화 관광 안내‧서비스의 창업‧운영 역량 강화 교육과정으로 관광 실무 중심의 특화 교육을 통해 관광 분야 창업 ‧ 운영 및 관광 전문인력을 양성하고자 진행했다.

도내 예비창업자 및 관광기업 종사자 등 총 180여명의 교육생이 참가하여 각 과정별 총 7회차까지 110여명이 수료했다.

한편 아카데미 수료생 중 희망자를 대상으로 오는 8월부터 10월까지 전문가 맞춤형 창업 지도 컨설팅 프로그램 및 선진지 견학 프로그램도 운영할 예정이다.

영덕군에서 여행사 창업을 계획하고 있는 수료자는 “현재 관광 창업을 준비하는 과정에서 해당 교육 프로그램에 참여해 예비창업자로서 많은 도움이 됐으며, 앞으로도 기초‧심화 교육과정의 체계적인 관광 분야 교육 프로그램을 많이 운영했으면 좋겠다”고 전했다.

또한, 안동에서 이벤트 기획사를 운영하고 있는 수료자는 “경북에서 오프라인으로 축제‧이벤트 창업 운영 역량강화 교육과정이 전무후무한 가운데, 특히 현업에 종사하시는 분들의 강의는 너무 귀중했다”며, 주최측에 감사의 인사를 전했다.

김남일 공사 사장은 “이번 관광 아카데미의 높은 만족도와 도민들의많은 관심을 보여주신 것에 감사드린다”며 이와 더불어 “2025년 APEC이 유치된 만큼 지방관광시대, 리얼코리아 경북을 뒷받침 할 수 있도록 앞으로도 관광기업 및 예비창업자를 위해 다양한 관광 아카데미 프로그램을 운영하고 지원하겠다”고 밝혔다.

I hope that there will be many more systematic tourism education programs in the basic and advanced education courses in the future.”

In addition, a graduate who is running an event planning company in Andong said, “In Gyeongbuk, there is no offline festival/event startup operation capacity enhancement education program, and the lectures by those working in the field were especially valuable,” and expressed his gratitude to the organizers.

President Kim Nam-il of the construction company said, “I am grateful for the high satisfaction rate of this tourism academy and the great interest shown by the residents of the province,” and added, “As the 2025 APEC will be hosted, we will continue to operate and support various tourism academy programs for tourism companies and prospective entrepreneurs so that we can support Gyeongbuk, the era of local tourism and Real Korea.”
