상주 청화산 역시 겨울철 능선을 따라 길게 이어지는 상고대로 색다른 풍경을 선사한다. 기온이 급격히 떨어지는 날이면 산 전체가 서리로 뒤덮이며, 햇살이 비치는 시간대에는 상고대가 은은하게 빛나 신비로운 분위기를 자아낸다. 겨울의 청화산은 사계절과는 또 다른 묵직한 감동을 전한다.
