【브레이크뉴스 경북】진예솔 기자=경북문화관광공사(사장 김남일, 이하 공사)가 경북도의 주요 정책인 저출생 극복 및 지역 생활인구 증가를 위해 발 벗고 나섰다.

공사는 보문·안동레이크골프클럽을 방문하는 다자녀 가정(18세 이하 자녀 2명 이상)을 대상으로 평일 그린피 50% 할인 행사를 시행중이라고 12일 밝혔다.

해당 할인 정책은 저출생 극복을 위한 양육환경 분위기를 조성하고자 마련된 것으로 경북도민뿐만 아니라 대한민국 국민이라면 누구나 혜택을 받을 수 있다.

지난 3개월간 지역별 이용객 분포는 보문골프클럽 경북도민 42.5%, 경북도 이외 지역민 57.5%이며, 안동레이크골프클럽 경북도민 74.4%, 경북도 이외 지역민 25.6%로 나타났다.

월별 내장객 현황을 보면 경북도 이외 지역민이 늘어나고 있는 추세이며 특히 약 6시간 가량 소요되는 골프의 특성상 경주 및 안동으로 1박 2일, 2박 3일 체류형 관광도 함께 즐기는 골퍼들이 많아지고 있는 것으로 파악된다.

서울에서 보문골프클럽을 찾은 한 모씨는 “다자녀 가정 할인 혜택이 있는 것을 보고 경주로 하계휴가를 오게됐다”며 “아이들은 마음껏 보문단지에서 놀고 부모들은 부담 없이 골프를 즐길 수 있어서 만족스럽다”고 말했다.

경기도 수원에서 안동레이크골프클럽을 찾은 최 모씨는 “다른 지역에서도 이 같은 정책을 시행하면 아이를 양육하는 부담을 덜 수 있을 것 같다”고 전했다.

김남일 사장은“경상북도의 저출생 문제 대응 정책에 부응하는 양질의 양육환경 조성을 위해 본 행사를 진행하게 됐다”며 “향후 저출생 문제뿐만 아니라 경북지역의 생활인구 증가를 위한 다양한 프로그램을 개발해 적극 추진하겠다”고 밝혔다.

President Kim Nam-il said, “We held this event to create a quality childcare environment that responds to Gyeongsangbuk-do’s low birth rate response policy,” and “We will actively develop and promote various programs to increase the living population in the Gyeongbuk region in addition to the low birth rate problem in the future.”
