경주대학교 노동조합이 체불임금을 지급하지 않는 학교법인 원석학원을 형사 고소했다고 밝혔다.
노조는 지난해 12월 체불임금과 관련하여 학교법인 원석학원에 대한 민사소송을 진행한데 이어 15일에는 대구지방고용노동청 포항지청에 형사 고소 했다고 밝혔다.
노조는 “대학 구성원과 설립자는 지난 해 5월과 6월 정상화를 위해 작성한 합의서에서 최우선적으로 체불된 임금을 해결하겠다고 약속했다.”면서 “그러나 지난 해 12월 31일 임원승인 이후 학원 안정화를 위한 재정 투입에 대한 그 어떤 대책도, 노력도 보이지 않고 있다.”고 주장했다.
이어 “이후 새롭게 취임한 신임 박관이 이사장이 취임 즉시 경주대학교의 1, 2월 임금 지급과 2022학년도 1학기 이내에 체불임금 해소를 약속했지만 한 차례 설날 떡값을 지급한 것을 끝으로 더 이상 진행되지 않고 있다”고 상황을 설명했다.
