【브레이크뉴스 포항】박영재 기자=포항 지역 벤처기업의 기술 경쟁력 제고와 시장 진출 확대를 위한 지원이 본격화된다.

 (재)포항테크노파크(원장 배영호, 이하 포항TP)는 오는 30일까지 ‘2025년 벤처기업집적시설 입주기업 역량강화사업’에 참여할 기업을 모집한다고 밝혔다.

이번 사업은 경상북도와 포항시의 지원으로 추진되며, 벤처기업집적시설 입주기업을 대상으로 시제품 제작, 시험·분석, 인증 획득 등 기술지원과 함께 디자인, 마케팅, 컨설팅 등 경영·판로지원 프로그램을 제공한다. 선정된 기업에는 최대 1천만 원의 지원금이 주어지며, 총 8개사를 선발할 예정이다.

벤처기업집적시설은 「벤처기업육성에 관한 특별조치법」에 따라 지자체장이 지정한 공간으로, 벤처기업의 창업과 성장을 위한 기반을 갖춘 것이 특징이다. 포항TP는 제4‧5벤처동과 본부동이 2020년, 제1벤처동이 2022년 각각 지정되며 지역 벤처 생태계의 허브 역할을 해오고 있다.

지난해에는 7개 기업이 해당 사업의 지원을 받아 총 5억 2천만 원의 매출 증가와 8명의 고용을 창출하는 성과를 거뒀다. 특히, ㈜덱스테크놀로지는 ‘세라믹 분리막을 이용한 이온 분리 회수 장비’ 시제품 개발 과제를 성공적으로 수행, 폐수 내 중금속 및 무기염을 분리·농축하는 시스템에 대한 특허를 출원했다.

배영호 포항TP 원장은 “지역 경기 침체 속에서도 기업들이 흔들림 없이 기술 개발과 사업화를 이어갈 수 있도록 실질적인 지원을 아끼지 않겠다”며 “앞으로도 입주기업의 성장과 지역 경제 활성화를 위해 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.

Pohang Techno Park (Director Bae Young-ho, hereinafter referred to as Pohang TP) announced that it will recruit companies to participate in the ‘2025 Venture Company Cluster Facility Capacity Enhancement Project’ until the 30th.

This project is being promoted with the support of Gyeongsangbuk-do and Pohang City, and will provide companies that move into the venture company cluster facility with technical support such as prototype production, testing/analysis, and certification acquisition, as well as management/sales support programs such as design, marketing, and consulting. Selected companies will be given up to 10 million won in support funds, and a total of 8 companies will be selected.

The venture company cluster facility is a space designated by the head of the local government in accordance with the 「Special Measures Act on the Promotion of Venture Companies」, and is characterized by having a foundation for the establishment and growth of venture companies. Pohang TP has been serving as a hub for the local venture ecosystem, with the 4th and 5th venture buildings and the headquarters building designated in 2020 and the 1st venture building designated in 2022, respectively.

Last year, seven companies received support from the project, achieving a total increase in sales of 520 million won and creating 8 jobs. In particular, Dex Technology Co., Ltd. successfully completed the project of developing a prototype of ‘ion separation and recovery equipment using a ceramic membrane’ and applied for a patent for a system that separates and concentrates heavy metals and inorganic salts in wastewater.

Pohang TP Director Bae Young-ho said, “We will spare no practical support so that companies can continue to develop technology and commercialize without wavering even in the midst of a regional economic downturn,” and “We will continue to do our best for the growth of companies in the area and the revitalization of the local economy.”
