【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=국회는 24일 본회의에서 ‘산불피해지원대책 특별위원회’(산불특위) 구성안을 의결했다.
산불특위는 영남권 대형 산불(3월 21~30일) 피해 구제와 복구 대책 마련을 담당한다.
특위는 여야 각 6명과 비교섭단체 1명 등 13명으로 이뤄진다. 국민의힘 박형수 의원이 대표 발의한 ‘산불피해지원 특별법 제정안’을 포함해 여야가 제출한 관련 법안을 집중 심의할 예정이다.
이번 산불로 피해 면적은 약 10만 ha에 달했다. 주택 4 천여 가구가 전소됐고 상가·창고·양식장 등도 피해를 입어 지역 경제에 큰 타격이 예상된다.
박형수 의원은 “산불 피해 주민에게 신속하고 실효적인 지원이 필요하다”며 “특위 논의를 통해 복구 속도를 높이겠다”고 밝혔다.
