이번 세미나는 국토교통부, 환경부, 경상북도, 김천시 등 정부 및 지자체 관계자와 자동차 산업계, 학계, 연구기관 등 100여 명이 참석했다. EV컨버전(내연기관차의 전기차 전환)의 안전성 강화와 튜닝 산업의 미래 전략 수립을 위해 마련된 자리였다.

행사는 유럽의 미래차 시장 동향과 기술 트렌드 공유 세션으로 시작해 국내 EV컨버전 현황과 추진 계획, 전기차 전환 통합 안전성 평가 기술 개발 및 튜닝검사 실증사업에 대한 발표로 이어졌다. 특히, 경북테크노파크와 한국교통안전공단은 전기차 튜닝 산업의 상용화를 위한 실증 기업 지원을 안내하며 실질적 지원 체계 마련 의지를 드러냈다.

하인성 경북테크노파크 원장은 "전기차 전환은 더 이상 선택이 아닌 필수"라며, "경북테크노파크는 EV컨버전 KIT 실증 지원과 튜닝 산업 고도화를 통해 지역 기업의 성장과 국내 미래 모빌리티 산업의 경쟁력 확보에 최선을 다할 것"이라고 밝혔다.

On the 17th, Gyeongbuk Technopark (Director Ha In-seong) held the 'EV Conversion Safety Enhancement and Industry Activation Seminar' at the Korea Transportation Safety Authority Tuning Safety Technology Institute.

This seminar was attended by approximately 100 people including government and local government officials from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, the Ministry of Environment, Gyeongsangbuk-do, Gimcheon-si, the automobile industry, academia, and research institutes. The event began with a session sharing future vehicle market trends and technology trends in Europe, followed by a presentation on the current status and promotion plans of domestic EV conversion, development of integrated safety assessment technology for electric vehicle conversion, and a demonstration project for tuning inspection. In particular, Gyeongbuk Technopark and the Korea Transportation Safety Authority provided guidance on demonstration companies for commercialization of the electric vehicle tuning industry and expressed their will to establish a practical support system.

Ha In-seong, the head of Gyeongbuk Technopark, said, “Conversion to electric vehicles is no longer an option but a necessity,” and added, “Gyeongbuk Technopark will do its best to secure the growth of local companies and the competitiveness of the domestic future mobility industry through EV conversion KIT verification support and advancement of the tuning industry.”
