이 두 사업은 경북청년창업지원센터(경산)에서 수행되며, 경북도 내 사업장(본사)을 둔 만 39세 이하의 청년 창업자들이 지원할 수 있다.

'경북 청년CEO 심화육성 지원'사업은 경북도 내 예비 청년 창업가를 대상으로 한 심화 과정으로, ‘시·군 예비청년창업가육성사업’을 졸업한 20명과, 업력 1년 이상 3년 이하의 청년 CEO 10명 등 총 30개사를 모집한다.

지원 분야는 기술 창업, 지식 창업, 6차 산업, 일반 창업 등 다양한 분야에 걸쳐 있으며, 기업당 최대 1,500만 원까지 창업 활동비를 지원한다. 이 지원금은 제품 개발, 홍보, 마케팅, 인증 지원 등 사업화 활동에 사용될 예정이다.

'경북 청년CEO JUMP-UP 지원'은 업력 3년 이상 7년 미만의 청년기업이 겪는 ‘죽음의 계곡(Death Valley)’을 극복하도록 돕는 성장 지원 프로그램이다. 총 5개 기업을 모집하며, 최대 3,000만 원의 창업 활동비를 지원하고, 벤처캐피탈(VC) 및 엑셀러레이터(AC)와 연계하여 투자전략 컨설팅과 투자유치·상담 지원, 창업 실무 교육 등을 제공한다.

지난해 경북청년창업지원센터의 지원을 받은 청년CEO들은 눈에 띄는 성과를 이루었다. 14기 청년CEO인 디컴포지션㈜(대표 최명현, 포항)은 플라스틱 분해 미생물 기반의 바이오센서를 활용하여 미세 플라스틱을 검출하는 기술을 보유, 지난해 10월 시드 투자를 유치하고 TIPS 프로그램에 선정됐다.

또한, 전년도 JUMP-UP 지원기업인 ㈜시그널케어(대표 양동섭, 청도)는 곤충을 활용한 바이오 사료 개발로 해외법인을 설립하고 수출계약을 체결했으며, 맞춤형 투자 컨설팅을 통해 120억 원 규모의 시리즈A 투자를 유치하며 큰 성장을 이루었다.

These two projects will be carried out by the Gyeongbuk Youth Entrepreneurship Support Center (Gyeongsan), and young entrepreneurs aged 39 or younger with a business location (headquarters) in Gyeongbuk Province can apply.

The "Gyeongbuk Youth CEO Intensive Training Support" project is an intensive course for prospective young entrepreneurs in Gyeongbuk Province. It recruits a total of 30 companies, including 20 graduates of the "City/County Preliminary Young Entrepreneur Training Project" and 10 young CEOs with 1 to 3 years of business experience.

The support areas cover a variety of fields, including technology startups, knowledge startups, the 6th industry, and general startups, and startup activity expenses of up to 15 million won per company are supported. This support will be used for commercialization activities such as product development, promotion, marketing, and certification support.

The "Gyeongbuk Youth CEO JUMP-UP Support" is a growth support program that helps young companies with 3 to 7 years of business experience overcome the "Death Valley." (CEO Choi Myeong-hyeon, Pohang), the 14th young CEO, possesses a technology to detect microplastics using a biosensor based on plastic-decomposing microorganisms, and attracted seed investment in October last year and was selected for the TIPS program.

In addition, Signalcare Co., Ltd. (CEO Yang Dong-seop, Cheongdo), a company supported by JUMP-UP in the previous year, established an overseas corporation and signed an export contract by developing biofeed using insects, and achieved significant growth by attracting 12 billion won in Series A investment through customized investment consulting.
