【브레이크뉴스 경북】이성현 기자=경상북도는 오는 11월 6일부터 7일까지 경주 힐튼호텔에서 ‘2025 APEC 국가기술사업대전 G-TECH CONNECT’를 개최한다고 5일 밝혔다.

이번 행사는 우수 공공기술 매칭부터 사업화 연계까지 원스톱(ONE-STOP) 기술사업화 지원 체계를 구축하고, 국내외 기업·대학·연구기관·투자기관 간 글로벌 기술협력 네트워크를 강화하기 위해 마련됐다. 행사에는 약 200여 개 기관 및 기업에서 300여 명이 참석할 예정이다.

대전은 경상북도가 주최하고 경북테크노파크가 주관하며, 기술보증기금, 연구개발특구진흥재단, 유타대학교, 경북대학교, 영남대학교, 금오공과대학교, 강원대학교, 충북대학교 등 전국 29개 기관이 공동 참여한다.

특히 세계은행(World Bank), 주한 유럽연합(EU) 대표부, 싱가포르 킬사글로벌, 미국 유타대학교 등 글로벌 혁신기관이 함께해 국제 협력의 폭을 넓힌다.

경북테크노파크는 기술보증기금 등과 업무협약(MOU)을 체결해 국제 공동 R&D 및 기술이전 협력 플랫폼을 구축하고, 글로벌 기술사업화 허브로서 경북의 위상을 강화한다는 계획이다.

행사 기간에는 ▲국내외 기술공급기관·기업 간 1:1 기술상담회 ▲글로벌 세미나(국제 공동 R&D, 글로벌 시장 진출 전략, 혁신기술 발표 등) ▲경북지역 투·융자협의회 및 국가기술거래플랫폼 성과공유회 ▲레전드 50+ 기술세미나 ▲가속기 활용 기업 성과보고회 등이 다채롭게 진행된다.

기조연설에는 세계은행 금융혁신센터의 스튜어드 이코나 센터장과 주한 EU대표부 월터 반 하툼 공사참사관이 참여해 ‘혁신기술과 글로벌 협력의 미래’를 주제로 발표한다.

둘째 날인 11월 7일에는 ‘전국 및 대경권 대학 TLO 협의회’가 열려 전국 대학 기술이전 전담조직(TLO)과 공공연구기관 관계자들이 한자리에 모인다. 협의회는 공공기술의 이전·사업화 역량을 강화하고, 전국 단위 TLO 협력 네트워크를 구축해 기술사업화 시너지 확대를 목표로 한다.

경상북도와 경북테크노파크는 이번 행사를 통해 이차전지, AI, 신소재 등 국가전략산업 중심의 기술사업화 기반을 강화하고, APEC 회원국 간 국제 협력 및 기업의 해외시장 진출을 촉진해 “기술로 세계와 연결되는 경북형 글로벌 기술사업화 생태계”를 구축한다는 방침이다.

하인성 경북테크노파크 원장은 “APEC 국가기술사업대전은 경북이 세계와 기술로 연결되는 출발점이자 대한민국 기술사업화의 새로운 도약 무대가 될 것”이라며 “산·학·연·금 협력 네트워크를 통해 경북이 글로벌 혁신 허브로 자리매김할 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.

Gyeongsangbuk-do Province to Host '2025 APEC National Technology Business Fair G-TECH CONNECT' in Gyeongju on November 6th and 7th

Gyeongsangbuk-do Province announced on November 5th that it will host the '2025 APEC National Technology Business Fair G-TECH CONNECT' at the Gyeongju Hilton Hotel from November 6th to 7th.

This event aims to establish a one-stop technology commercialization support system, from matching outstanding public technologies to commercialization, and to strengthen the global technology cooperation network among domestic and international companies, universities, research institutes, and investment institutions. Approximately 300 participants from approximately 200 organizations and companies are expected to attend the event.

The Daejeon event is hosted by Gyeongsangbuk-do Province and organized by Gyeongbuk Technopark. Twenty-nine organizations across the country will participate, including the Korea Technology Finance Corporation, the Korea Research and Development Institute, the University of Utah, Kyungpook National University, Yeungnam University, Kumoh National Institute of Technology, Kangwon National University, and Chungbuk National University.

In particular, global innovation organizations such as the World Bank, the European Union (EU) Delegation to Korea, Kilsa Global from Singapore, and the University of Utah will participate, broadening the scope of international cooperation.

Gyeongbuk Technopark plans to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Korea Technology Finance Corporation (KOTIB) and others to establish an international joint R&D and technology transfer platform and strengthen Gyeongbuk's status as a global technology commercialization hub.

The event will feature a variety of activities, including: ▲One-on-one technology consultations between domestic and international technology suppliers and companies; ▲Global seminars (international joint R&D, global market entry strategies, innovative technology presentations, etc.); ▲Gyeongbuk Regional Investment and Loan Council and National Technology Transaction Platform Performance Sharing Meeting; ▲Legend 50+ Technology Seminar; and ▲Accelerator Performance Reports.

Keynote addresses will be delivered by Stuart Icona, Director of the World Bank Center for Financial Innovation, and Walter van Hatoum, Minister-Counselor at the EU Delegation to Korea, on "The Future of Innovative Technology and Global Cooperation."

On the second day, November 7th, the "National and Greater-Gyeonggi Area University Technology Loan (TLO) Council" will be held, bringing together university Technology Loan Organizations (TLOs) and public research institutes from across the country. The council aims to strengthen public technology transfer and commercialization capabilities and establish a nationwide TLO cooperation network to expand technology commercialization synergy.

Gyeongsangbuk-do Province and Gyeongbuk Technopark plan to use this event to strengthen the technology commercialization foundation centered on national strategic industries such as secondary batteries, AI, and new materials. They also aim to foster international cooperation among APEC member countries and the overseas market expansion of companies, thereby establishing a "Gyeongbuk-style global technology commercialization ecosystem that connects Gyeongbuk to the world through technology."

Gyeongbuk Technopark Director Ha In-seong stated, "The APEC National Technology Business Fair will be a starting point for Gyeongbuk to connect with the world through technology and a new leap forward for technology commercialization in Korea. We will do our best to establish Gyeongbuk as a global innovation hub through a network of cooperation among industry, academia, research institutes, and finance."
