【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자=대구신용보증재단(이사장 박진우·이하 대구신보)이 대구시가 실시한 2025년(2024년 실적 기준) 출자·출연기관 경영평가에서 ‘기관 경영실적평가’와 ‘기관장 경영성과평가’ 두 부문 모두 1위를 차지했다.

대구시 경영평가는 리더십, 전략, 경영시스템, 일자리 확대, 사회적 책임, 사업성과, 고객만족 등 7개 항목을 기준으로 매년 외부 전문평가기관이 진행하며, 운영심의위원회의 심의·의결을 거쳐 최종 결과를 확정한다.

대구신보는 이번 평가에서 기관 종합점수는 전년 대비 1.14점 상승, 기관장 평가는 0.9점 상승을 기록하며 두 부문 모두 최고 성적을 거뒀다.

이번 1위 성과는 박진우 이사장의 전략적 리더십과 조직 운영 능력이 주요한 역할을 한 것으로 평가된다.

2023년 대구신보는 총 2조 2,805억 원의 보증을 공급해 역대 최대 실적을 기록했으며, 30여 개의 신규 보증상품 개발, 지역신보 재기지원 사업 전국 최우수 선정, 신용보증 재원 확보 규모 역시 사상 최대를 달성하는 등 정책성과 측면에서도 괄목할 만한 결과를 냈다.

뿐만 아니라 노사 상생 분위기 조성, 안전보건 관리 체계 강화, ESG 경영 고도화 추진 등 공공기관으로서의 사회적 책임도 충실히 이행하며 높은 평가를 받았다.

박진우 이사장은 이번 평가 결과에 대해 “대구시의 정책 방향과 소상공인의 목소리를 경청하며, 실질적인 도움이 되는 보증 지원을 확대해 온 것이 좋은 평가로 이어진 것 같다”며, “앞으로도 임직원들과 함께 소기업·소상공인의 재도약을 돕고, 지역경제에 활력을 불어넣는 대구 대표 공공금융기관으로 자리매김하겠다”고 밝혔다.

한편 대구신보는 앞으로도 혁신적인 보증 상품 개발과 고객 중심 행정을 강화해 지속 가능한 지역금융 플랫폼으로서의 역할을 더욱 확대해 나갈 계획이다.

Daegu Credit Guarantee Foundation (Chairman Park Jin-woo, hereinafter referred to as Daegu Shinbo) ranked first in both 'Institutional Management Performance Evaluation' and 'Institutional Director Management Performance Evaluation' categories in the 2025 (based on 2024 performance) investment and contribution organization management evaluation conducted by Daegu City.

Daegu City Management Evaluation is conducted annually by an external professional evaluation agency based on seven categories including leadership, strategy, management system, job expansion, social responsibility, business performance, and customer satisfaction, and the final results are confirmed after deliberation and resolution by the Operation Review Committee.

Daegu Shinbo recorded the highest score in both categories in this evaluation, with the overall organization score increasing by 1.14 points and the institution director evaluation increasing by 0.9 points compared to the previous year.

This first-place performance is evaluated to have been mainly due to Chairman Park Jin-woo's strategic leadership and organizational management ability.

In 2023, Daegu Shinbo provided a total of KRW 2.2805 trillion in guarantees, recording the highest performance ever, and achieved remarkable results in terms of policy performance, such as developing about 30 new guarantee products, being selected as the best in the country for the local Shinbo revitalization support project, and securing the largest amount of credit guarantee resources ever.

In addition, it received high evaluations for faithfully fulfilling its social responsibilities as a public institution, such as creating an atmosphere of labor-management cooperation, strengthening the safety and health management system, and promoting advanced ESG management.

Regarding this evaluation result, Chairman Park Jin-woo said, “I think the good evaluation was achieved because we listened to the policy direction of Daegu City and the voices of small business owners and expanded guarantee support that provided practical help,” and “We will continue to work with our employees to help small businesses and small business owners make a comeback and establish ourselves as Daegu’s representative public financial institution that invigorates the local economy.”

Meanwhile, Daegu Shinbo plans to further expand its role as a sustainable local financial platform by developing innovative guarantee products and strengthening customer-centered administration.
