이날 간담회에는 손동기 영천상공회의소 회장을 비롯해 영천지역 7개 기업인협의회 회장 및 임원, 영천시청 관계자 등 20여 명이 참석했다.

간담회에서는 영천시 기업유치과와 영천상공회의소가 기업들을 대상으로 추진 중인 각종 지원사업을 안내하며, 기업의 경영 현장에서 체감할 수 있는 실질적 지원 방향을 공유했다. 이어 각 협의회별 민원 사항을 질의‧답변하는 시간이 마련돼 지역 기업의 애로와 건의사항을 직접 듣는 자리가 됐다.

손동기 회장은 “기업인협의회 회장님들의 의견을 들으니 상공회의소가 앞으로 어떤 역할을 해야 할지가 더욱 명확해진 것 같다”며 “상공회의소 차원에서 민원전담위원회를 구성해 관계 기관과 협력하며 지속적으로 해결 방안을 요구하겠다”고 밝혔다.

이에 참석한 기업인협의회장들은 “개별적으로 민원을 제기하는 것보다 간담회를 통해 직접 질문하고 현장에서 답변을 받을 수 있어 큰 도움이 됐다”고 평가하며 “이러한 자리가 지역 기업들의 애로 해소와 경영 개선에 실질적 도움이 될 것”이라면서 상공회의소와 관계 기관의 지속적인 관심과 지원을 요청했다.

A Q&A session was also held with each council, providing an opportunity to directly hear the challenges and suggestions of local businesses.

Chairman Son Dong-gi stated, "Hearing the opinions of the Business Council presidents has made the future role of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry clearer. We will establish a dedicated civil complaints committee at the Chamber level and collaborate with relevant organizations to continuously demand solutions."

The Business Council presidents in attendance praised the meeting, saying, "It was incredibly helpful to be able to ask questions directly and receive on-site answers, rather than filing complaints individually." They added, "This forum will be of substantial help in resolving local businesses' difficulties and improving their management." They requested continued interest and support from the Chamber of Commerce and relevant organizations.
