최근 대구·경북지역에서 교회시설을 통한 감염 확산과 유흥시설 등 일부 다중이용시설에 대해 풍선효과가 우려되면서 그동안 안정세를 유지했던 지역의 코로나 19 상황은 불안해지고 있다. 대구시는 시민들의 이같은 불안과 위기 극복을 위해 선제적 방역에 나선다고 밝혔다.

이에 따라 대구시는 전국 공통으로 적용되는 방역대책과 더불어 국공립시설 중 체육시설 운영을 중단하며 유흥시설과 관련하여 타 지역에서 원정 모임이 있다는 보도와 함께 관련 종사자들의 지역 내 유입이 우려됨에 따라 유흥시설 5종 전체의 집합을 금지한다.

또한 지난 2단계 격상시 지역경제를 감안하여 적용하지 않았던 노래연습장, 실내스탠딩공연장, 식당·카페, 실내체육시설, 독서실·스터디카페 등에 대해 21시 이후 운영 중단을 실시하고 놀이공원과 워터파크의 경우 수용가능 인원의 1/3로 인원을 제한한다.

특히 손자녀를 통한 조부모 감염사례가 잇따르고 있어 어린이집 휴원과 경로당 휴관을 실시하며 긴급보육 운영으로 보육공백을 방지할 예정이다.아울러 공공부문 재택근무 비율을 최대한 확대하고 민간에도 정부 수준(1/3이상 재택근무)으로 권고하여 근무 밀집도 완화 대책을 추진한다.

대구시는 의료방역에 있어서도 발 빠르게 나선다. 선별진료소를 총 19개소에서 최대 30개소까지 확대할 예정이며, 국채보상운동(중구), 두류공원 야구장(달서구), 다사보건지소(달성군) 등 3개의 임시선별검사소가 별도로 운영되고 있다.

가장 우려가 되고 있는 병상확보에 대해서는 현재 345개 병상중 242 병상이 사용 중이며 103개 병상이 사용 가능한 상태로 향후 칠곡경북대병원에서 181병상을 운영하기 위해 준비 중에 있다고 전했다.

또한 24일부터는 160실 규모의 교육부 중앙교육연수원을 준비하여 대구시 자체 생활치료센터로 개소하여 운영할 계획을 밝혔다.

채홍호 행정부시장은 “지난 2월에 있었던 코로나19와 전쟁에서 모든 시민의 철저한 방역으로 D-방역을 성공적으로 이룬 바 있다”면서 “너무나 고통스럽고 힘들었던 그때를 상기하면서 지금의 어려운 상황을 슬기롭게 헤쳐 나가기 위해 연대와 배려가 다시 한 번 절박한 시기”라고 당부했다.
