경북테크노파크(원장 하인성, 이하 경북 TP) 경북스마트제조혁신센터는 ’중소벤처기업부의지역 스마트제조혁신센터 성과평가‘에서 2년 연속 S등급 석권하는 쾌거를 이뤄냈다.

경북TP는 중소기업부가 추진하는 2020년도 스마트공장 보급·확산사업을 운영하며 238개사(220개사 목표)를 지원해 목표대비 108%를 초과달성했다.

이와 함께 사후관리 강화를 통해 문제와 애로사항을 진단·분석하고 사후관리 및 고도화 연계지원을 통해 사업성과 선순환체계를 마련하였으며 이 같은 성과가 이번 평가에 반영된 것으로 분석된다.

또한 지역 제조업의 경쟁력을 키우기 위한 경북형 스마트공장 구축의 효과가 나타나고 있는데 특히 경북지역 스마트공장을 도입한 8개기업 중 지속적인 고도화 사업을 추진한 아주스틸㈜, ㈜한중엔시에스, ㈜화신정공, ㈜화신은 시범공장 수준의 중간2를 달성했다.

중기부의 스마트공장 보급·확산사업은 제품설계·생산공정 개선을 위해 IoT, 5G, 빅데이터 등의 첨단기술을 적용한 스마트공장 솔루션 구축 등을 지원하는 것으로 중기부는 올해부터 스마트공장 보급 시스템을 개편하여 질적 고도화에 집중 지원하여 구축 목표수준에 따라 총사업비 50% 범위 내에서 최대 4억 원까지 지원한다.
