한국수력원자력(주) 월성원자력본부(본부장 원흥대)는 설명절을 맞아 동경주 지역 어려운 이웃을 위해 생필품 지원 활동을 펼쳤다고 28일 밝혔다.

월성본부는 지난 27일 지역 농산물인 경주 이사금쌀(20Kg)을 양남면, 문무대왕면, 감포읍 3개 읍면에 각 70포대씩, 지역의 어려운 이웃 총 210세대에게 전달했다.

또한 지난 25일, 26일 양일간에 거쳐 지역의 어려운 이웃 126세대에 소고기, 계란, 과일 등 차례상 식재료를 담은 선물꾸러미와 참치선물세트를 본부 직원들이 직접 배달하며 따뜻한 명절 인사를 나눴다.

원흥대 본부장은 “코로나로 인해 모두가 힘든 상황이 계속 되고 있는데 이번 활동이 동경주 지역분들이 설 명절을 따뜻하게 보내는데 조금이나마 도움이 됐으면 좋겠다.”면서 “앞으로도 월성본부는 다양한 사회공헌활동을 통해 지역과의 상생을 위해 노력하겠다.”고 말했다.
