제23대 영남대병원장에 호흡기·알레르기내과 전문의 신경철(57) 교수가 임명됐다.

3일 영남대병원에 따르면 신경철 신임 병원장은 영남대 의과대학을 졸업하고 부속병원 호흡기·알레르기내과 분과장, 교육지원센터장, 의학전문대학원 부원장, 의료원 사무국장, 부속병원 부원장을 역임했다.

또 COPD 진료지침 개정위원회 운영위원, 민간공공협력 국가결핵관리사업 대구권역 책임의사, 대한결핵 및 호흡기학회 교육이사, 대한결핵 및 호흡기학회 COPD 연구회 회장으로 활동한 바 있다.
