【브레이크뉴스 칠곡】이성현 기자=칠곡군은 2023년 당초 예산(안)을 2022년 본예산 대비 618억 원(10.1%) 늘어난 6,735억 원으로 편성해 칠곡군의회에 제출했다고 22일 밝혔다.

군에 따르면 회계별로는 일반회계 6,010억 원, 특별회계 725억 원으로 역대 최대 규모로 편성됐으며 주요 세입예산으로 자체세입인 지방세와 세외수입은 1,200억 원으로 전체 세입의 19.97%이며, 지방교부세와 국·도비 보조금 등 의존재원 4,385억 원과 순세계잉여금 등 보전수입 425억 원이 반영됐다.

군은 민선8기 출범에 따른 지역 현안 사업에 적극적으로 국도비를 확보하고 지역 경제 및 일자리 안정화를 위한 투자, 지역민의 정주 여건 강화를 위한 정책에 재원을 우선 활용할 계획이다. 

주요 현안 사업으로 군부대 유치 등 신산업 발굴 용역 6억 원, 농촌협약 공모사업 운영 24억 원, 왜관읍 도시재생 뉴딜사업 61억 원, 석전리 공영주차장 조성 44억 원, 왜관8리~금산간 도시계획도로 개설 30억 원, 율리~오평간 연결도로 개설 32억 원, 중리~구평간 연계도로 개설 89억 원 등이 반영됐다.

또한 지역경제 활성화 및 일자리 분야에는 노인일자리 등 일자리 창출 지원 102억 원, 중소기업 자금지원 및 지역사랑상품권 발행 45억 원, 중소기업 운전자금 등 이차보전금 지원 20억 원, 농어촌버스 무료환승제 3억 원 등이 편성됐다.

아울러 사회복지 분야 주요 사업에 기초연금 535억 원, 영유아 보육료 107억 원, 부모 급여 및 아동수당 104억 원, 국민기초생활 생계급여 162억 원 등을 투입하여 복지 안전망 구축에 힘을 쏟을 계획이다.
