8일 칠곡군에 따르면 이번 조직개편은‘정부의 효율적인 조직관리 지침’에 따라 인력 증원 없이3국1실20과 1의회 2직속기관 3사업소 8읍면의 행정기구와 872명 정원으로 운영된다.

이번 조직개편에서는 농촌협약사업과 농촌개발 공모사업을 위한 지역활력과와 기업·군부대 유치 및 산업단지 조성 등을 위한 투자유치과를 신설한다.

또 칠곡문화관광재단 설립에 따라 중복된 업무의 이관으로 문화도시과와 관광진흥과를 문화관광과로 통합한다.

이와 함께 미래교육의 경쟁력 강화와 전문성을 위한 교육지원업무 이관과 체계적인 아동·청소년 육성보호 업무를 위해 가족행복과를 교육아동복지과로 개편해 운영한다.

이 밖에 민원봉사과는 민원토지과로, 주민생활지원과는 복지정책과로 명칭이 각각 변경된다.

김재욱 군수는“이번 조직개편을 통해 칠곡의 미래먹거리 사업의 교두보를 마련하고,행정의 전문성과 효율성을 높여 군민들이 체감할 수 있는 행정혁신을 위해 최선을다하겠다.”고 말했다.

한편 이번 조직 개편안은 행정기구 설치 조례 및 시행규칙 일부개정안에 대해 입법예고와 조례규칙심의 등 행정절차를 마쳤고, 칠곡군의회 제288회 정례회에서 심의하여 내년 1월 1일 자로 시행할 예정이다.
