17일 칠곡군은 꾹꾹 눌러쓴 손글씨를 디지털 글씨체로 만든 칠곡할매글꼴로 인기를 얻고 있는 할머니들과 천재 작가 전이수는 내달 16일부터 제주시에 위치한 미술관‘걸어가는 늑대들’에서‘괜찮아’라는 주제로 특별 기획전을 개최한다고 밝혔다.

이번 기획전은‘10대 같은 80대 경북 칠곡군 할머니’와‘80대 같은 10대 제주 소년’이 코로나와 고물가로 힘들어하는 대한민국 국민에게 따뜻한 위로와 사랑의 메시지를 전하기 위해 마련됐다.

여덟 살 때 책을 출간한 열다섯 동화작가 전이수는 독특한 감성과 터치로 일상의 삶에서 위로를 전하는 따뜻한 글과 그림으로 13권의 책을 펴내며 연달아‘베스트셀러’에 올랐다.

기획전은 걸어가는 늑대들에 전시된 전 작가의 작품 40여 점에 담겨있는 의미를 칠곡할매글꼴로 설명하고 칠곡 할머니의 인생과 삶이 녹아있는 시집과 시화를 선보인다.

전시회는 3월 16일 칠곡군청과 제주시 걸어가는 늑대들을 온라인으로 연결해 열리는 오픈식을 시작으로 4월 16일까지 선을 보인다.

한편 칠곡할매글꼴은 칠곡군이 마련한 성인문해교육을 통해 일흔이 넘어 한글을 깨친 다섯 명의 칠곡 할머니가 넉 달 동안 종이 2000장에 수없이 연습한 끝에 제작된 글씨체다.
