지역사회공헌 인정제도는 보건복지부와 한국사회복지협의회가 공동으로 지역사회에서 꾸준한 사회·환경 공헌활동을 펼친 기업을 발굴해 공로를 인정해 주는 제도이다.
올해 인정기업은 환경경영(Environment),사회공헌(Social),윤리경영(Governance) 등 총 20개 지표에 대하여 공정하고 객관적인 심사를 거쳐 선정되었으며, 대성에너지는 환경경영, 사회공헌 영향성과, 윤리경영 분야에서 최우수 등급을 받았다.
대성에너지는 매년 대한적십자사, 자원봉사능력개발원 등 지역사회의 여러 비영리단체 및 사회복지단체와 협력하여 전사적 차원에서 다양한 사회공헌활동을 꾸준히 실천하고 있고 임직원 매칭그랜트 후원사업 인 학대피해아동 지원사업이 사회공헌 대표 프로그램으로 인정 받았다.
