【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자=대성에너지㈜는 27일 대구 중구 명덕로 본사 주차장에서 한국가스안전공사 대구광역본부, 대구광역시 간호사회, 자원봉사능력개발원과 함께 ‘2025년 사랑의 김장 나눔’ 행사를 진행했다고 밝혔다.

이번 행사는 대성에너지가 매년 겨울철을 앞두고 실시하는 대표적 지역 상생 프로그램으로, 취약계층의 따뜻한 식탁을 돕기 위해 마련됐다. 올해는 임직원과 유관기관 관계자 60여 명이 참여해 절임 배추 나르기, 양념 준비, 김치 버무리기 등 전 과정에 함께했다. 정성스럽게 담근 김치는 쪽방 주민, 독거노인, 저소득 가구 등 800세대에 전달됐다.

행사를 총괄한 한승훈 대성에너지 총무팀 팀장은 “매년 김장을 준비할 때마다 작은 손길도 누군가에게 큰 위로가 될 수 있다는 사실을 느낀다”며 “특히 올해는 생활비 부담이 커진 만큼 더 많은 분들이 따뜻한 겨울을 보내시길 바라는 마음으로 준비했다”고 밝혔다.

봉사에 참여한 자원봉사능력개발원 강정우 사무국장은 “여러 기관이 힘을 모아 한겨울을 준비하는 이웃에게 도움을 드릴 수 있어 매우 뜻깊었다”며 “대성에너지와 함께하는 김장 나눔은 매년 기다려지는 행사로, 앞으로도 지역사회를 위한 협력이 계속 이어지길 바란다”고 소감을 전했다.

한편, 대성에너지는 지난 20여 년 동안 자원봉사능력개발원과 함께 무더위 극복 캠페인, 쪽방 상생 프로젝트, 희망드림센터 지원 등 지역 취약계층을 위한 다양한 사회공헌 활동을 지속하며 ESG 경영을 실천하고 있다.

Han Seung-hoon, head of the Daesung Energy General Affairs Team, who oversaw the event, said, "Every year, when I prepare kimchi, I realize that even the smallest gesture can bring great comfort to someone. This year, especially with the increased burden of living expenses, we prepared this event with the hope that more people will have a warm winter."
