대구시, 복지위기가구 신속 발굴 위한 업무협약 체결
단전·단수·단가스 가구에 대한 신속한 정보공유

【브레이크뉴스 대구】박은정 기자=대구시는 한국전력 대구본부, 대성에너지, 상수도사업본부와 위기 가구 정보를 신속히 공유하기 위한 빅데이터 활용 업무 협약을 20일 했다고 밝혔다.
시에 따르면 이번 업무협약을 통해 이들 기관들은 2개월 이상 공공요금이 체납되어 단전·단수·단가스 위기에 놓인 가구에 대한 위기정보를 매월 제공한다.
이를 제공받은 대구시는 위기정보 3가지 중 2가지 이상 중복된 가구를 선별해 위기상황이 의심되는 가구의 명단을 구·군에 통보해 신속히 조사와 지원이 이루어지도록 할 계획이다.
이는 현행 3개월 이상 연체 가구에 대해 2개월마다 보건복지부로부터 제공받는 복지사각지대 발굴지원 대상자 정보보다 길게는 3개월 이상 단축해 파악할 수 있어 신속한 위기가구 발굴과 지원이 이루어질 수 있을 거라 기대한다.
김동우 대구시 복지국장은 “대구시 위기가구 종합지원 대책은 복지 사각지대에 놓인 위기가구를 더 빨리 발견하고 더 두텁게 지원하는 것이 핵심이다”며, “신속한 복지 위기가구 발굴을 위해 생활밀착형 공공서비스를 제공하는 기관들이 함께 힘을 모으는 만큼 위기가구 발굴이 신속히 이루어져 조기에 위기 상황을 해소할 수 있기를 기대한다”고 밝혔다.
