【브레이크뉴스 대구】박은정 기자=  대구 달서구(구청장 이태훈)는 LH 대경본부(본부장 신광호), 경북대 스타트업지원센터(센터장 김현덕)와 2023년 스마트빌리지 보급 및 확산 사업 추진을 위한 업무협약을 체결했다고 28일 밝혔다.

이날 협약식은 달서구와 LH 대구경북지역본부, 경북대 스타트업지원센터 관계자 등 10여명이 참석한 가운데 디지털 문화교육거점센터 구축으로 지역사회의 균형 있는 디지털 전환, ICT 기반 정책을 추진하기 위해 마련됐다.

  주요 협약내용은 해당사업을 위한 협력, 각 기관이 보유한 역량 및 인프라의 활용과 지원, 디지털 기술체험·활용거점 구축 및 활성화 지원 등이다.

앞서 달서구는 과학기술정보통신부가 주관하는 2023년 스마트빌리지 보급 및 확산사업에 선정돼 국비 24억원을 지원받게 됐으며 구비 6억원을 포함한 총 30억원을 투입해 해당사업을 추진한다.

이번 사업으로 생활SOC시설을 활용해 주민에게 실감미디어 체험서비스를 제공하고, 디지털 기술체험·활용 거점센터를 구축해 디지털 제작, AI기반의 코딩 메이커 활동, 신기술 체험을 연령별로 체감할 수 있는 실습 위주 미래교육을 지원할 계획이다.

이태훈 달서구청장은 “지역 내 기관들과 협력하여 인프라 및 보유역량을 공유하고 상호 협력하여, 급변하는 4차 산업혁명 시대에 다양한 연령이 누구나 디지털 기술을 어려워하지 않고 친근하게 다가갈 수 있도록 생활 속 디지털 체험공간을 조성하여 사람중심의 특화된 스마트도시로 우뚝 서겠다.”고 밝혔다.
