【브레이크뉴스 대구】박은정 기자=DGB대구은행(은행장 황병우)는 ESG실천 및 전기소비 인식개선을 위한 ‘DG-KEP 3·6·5 E-SAC줍기’ 업무협약을 체결했다고 11일 밝혔다.

이번 협약식은 DGB대구은행과 대구 중구청(구청장 류규하), 한국전력 대구본부(본부장 박무홍), 중구 상인회(회장 이준호, 황선탁)간의 협약으로 진행됐다.

 각 당사자 간 상호협력을 통해 대구시 중구지역 28개 상권을 대상으로 전기소비자의 행동변화를 유도함으로써 사용량을 절감하고 전기의 가치에 대한 인식개선을 도모하고자 한다. 

‘DG-KEP 3·6·5 E-SAC줍기’는 ‘E-Saving And Cashback’의 줄임말로 대구시 중구 소재 상가를 대상으로 해당 지역 상인들이 과거 2년 평균 전력 사용량의 5%이상 절감 시, 절감 kwh당 20원씩 캐시백으로 되돌려주는 것이 주 내용이다. 

선정된 절감 대상자는 별도 통지되며, 기타 문의는 한국전력 대구 본부에 유선 문의를 통해 할 수 있다.

한국전력 대구본부는 AMI(원격검침기술)을 통한 실시간 사용량 및 절전정보를 제공하고 대상 고객들에게 등 유관기관 함께 절전 사업을 위한 다양한 방안을 모색하며, DGB대구은행은 금융상품 개발 및 절전 성공 고객에 대한 절감 인센티브 입금대행업무를 맡는다.

이은미 경영기획본부장은 “지역 기업 금융지원을 통해 전기 에너지 절감 의식개선에 도움이 될 수 있기를 바란다"며," DGB대구은행은 지역 대표은행의 소임을 다해 ESG 경영을 적극적으로 실천하고 소기업·소상공인 지원에 적극 앞장서겠다”고 밝혔다.
