대구경찰청(청장 김수영)과 대구시사회복지협의회(회장 김석표)를 통해 지원되는 성금은 대구시 내 강력범죄 피해로 고통을 받고 있는 대상자의 경제적 보완과 심리적 안정 지원을 목적으로 지원될 예정이다.

특히 후원금 전액은 DGB대구은행 임직원의 급여 1% 나눔으로 조성되어 그 의미를 더했다.

김정원 노조위원장은 “DGB대구은행 임직원들의 성금으로 범죄피해와 생활고를 동시에 겪고 있는 취약계층에 도움이 되길 바란다"며," 올해도 취약계층을 위해 다양한 방법으로 힘을 보탤 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.
