【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=영진사이버대학교가 내년 신설 예정인 디지털문예콘텐츠학과의 교육 기반 강화를 위해 문학과 영상 분야의 주요 기관들과 협력에 나섰다.

영진사이버대는 10일 서울영상위원회, 문학의집서울, 한국디카시인협회와 업무협약을 체결했다고 밝혔다. 

이날 협약식에는 이장호 서울영상위원회 위원장, 최동호 문학의집서울 이사장, 김종회 한국디카시인협회 회장 등 문학과 스토리텔링 분야 관계자들이 참석했다.

이번 협약을 통해 각 기관은 문예·영상 콘텐츠 공동 개발, 전문가 특강 및 실무 워크숍 운영, 디카시 창작·교육 프로그램 협력, 현장기반 창작 프로젝트 지원 등 디지털 창작 인재 양성을 위한 다방면의 협력을 추진할 계획이다.

2026학년도 신설되는 디지털문예콘텐츠학과는 문예창작과 콘텐츠 기획을 중심으로 문화예술과 스토리텔링 역량을 갖춘 창작 인재를 양성하는 것을 목표로 하고 있다. 

특히 한국어교육과 디카시 창작·지도 실습을 포함한 융합형 교육과정을 마련해, 디지털 문예 콘텐츠 시대에 걸맞는 실무 중심의 역량 강화에 집중할 방침이다.

이장호 서울영상위원회 위원장은 “스토리텔링과 영상 제작 능력을 두루 갖춘 창작 인재가 미래 콘텐츠 산업의 핵심이 될 것”이라고 강조했다.  

최동호 문학의집·서울 이사장은 “이번 협약이 디지털 플랫폼을 기반으로 한 K-문학의 확장에 중요한 발판이 되길 바란다”고 말했다.  

김종회 한국디카시인협회 회장은 “디카시를 통해 K-문학의 세계화가 본격적으로 시작되는 출발점이 될 것”이라고 기대감을 나타냈다.

도한신 총장은 “학과 신설과 함께 국내 주요 문화예술기관과의 협력을 통해 교육의 전문성과 실무성을 한층 높일 수 있을 것”이라며, “창의적 스토리텔링 역량을 갖춘 미래형 창작 인재 양성에 힘쓰겠다”고 밝혔다.

Through this agreement, the institutions plan to pursue multifaceted collaboration to cultivate digital creative talent. This includes joint development of literary and film content, hosting expert lectures and practical workshops, collaborating on digital creative and education programs, and supporting field-based creative projects.

The Department of Digital Literature Contents, which will be established in 2026, aims to cultivate creative talent with cultural and artistic skills and storytelling capabilities, focusing on creative writing and content planning.

In particular, the program will focus on developing practical skills suited to the era of digital literary content by establishing a convergent curriculum that includes Korean language education and hands-on experience in creating and teaching digital poetry (DICA).

Lee Jang-ho, Chairman of the Seoul Film Commission, emphasized, "Creative talent with both storytelling and video production skills will be at the core of the future content industry."

Choi Dong-ho, Chairman of the Munhak House/Seoul Board of Directors, said, "I hope this agreement will serve as a significant stepping stone for the expansion of K-literature through digital platforms."

Kim Jong-hoe, Chairman of the Korean DICA Poets Association, expressed his expectations, saying, "DICA will serve as the starting point for the full-scale globalization of K-literature."

President Do Han-shin stated, "With the establishment of this new department, we will be able to further enhance the professionalism and practicality of our education through collaborations with major domestic cultural and arts institutions. We will strive to cultivate future-oriented creative talent equipped with creative storytelling capabilities."
