【브레이크뉴스 대구 】박은정 기자= 대구 동구청(구청장 윤석준)은 지역 주민의 평생교육 진흥을 위해 대구보건대학교(총장 남성희)와 업무협약을 체결했다고 27일 밝혔다.

 이번 업무협약은 대구보건대학교가 교육부 공모사업으로 진행중인 ‘2주기 대학의 평생교육체제 지원 사업(LiFE 2.0)’의 성인 맞춤형 학위·비학위 과정 개설에 따른 것으로 동구민의 다양한 교육수요를 반영, 성인학습자의 직업교육과 생애 역량 개발을 위해 추진하기로 했다.

주요 협약 사항은 평생직업교육 기획·개발 및 운영 협력, 평생직업교육 진흥을 위한 자원 공유 및 교강사 지원, 평생직업교육 활성화를 위한 지역현안 공동대응 등이다.

대구보건대학교는 공모사업에 선정되면 보건의료, 아동, 복지 분야 등 생활 밀착형 평생학습 강좌를 동구 구민에게 지원하고 지역주민의 건강증진 및 다양한 평생직업교육 인프라를 제공할 예정이다.

 윤석준 동구청장은 “지역 인구 감소와 지방대학의 위기 극복을 위해 성인학습자 중심으로 생애 단계별 평생교육체제 개편에 동참하여 지역사회의 정주여건을 개선하고 지역과 대학이 상생 발전할 수 있도록 적극적으로 협력하겠다”고 밝혔다.
