【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=국민의힘 최은석 국회의원(대구 동구·군위군갑)이 국민의힘 수석대변인 겸 원내 수석대변인에 임명됐다. 

이에 따라 4일부터 당 수석대변인과 원내 수석대변인 역할을 맡게 된다.

최 의원은 CJ제일제당 대표이사 사장을 역임한 기업인 출신으로, 제22대 국회 입성 후 원내대표 비서실장과 원내부대표를 맡으며 실무 감각과 정책 역량을 동시에 인정받아왔다.

최 의원은 “당이 어려운 상황 속에서 중책을 맡게 돼 무거운 책임감과 사명감을 느낀다”며, “대변인은 단순한 전달자가 아니라 당의 철학과 정책을 국민께 정확히 설명하고, 민심과 언론의 목소리를 당에 제대로 전달하는 소통의 가교”라고 밝혔다.

이어 “명확하고 책임 있는 메시지를 통해 국민의 눈높이에서 공감과 신뢰를 얻는 대변인이 되겠다”며 “언론과도 더욱 긴밀히 소통하고, 사실에 기반한 메시지로 신뢰받는 정치를 실현하겠다”고 덧붙였다.

또 “전략 없는 비판은 소음이 되고, 방향 없는 외침은 공허하다”며 “진실에 근거한 비판과 책임 있는 대안으로 국민께 다가가는 정치를 만들어가겠다”고 강조했다.
