또한 수출 부진이 경기둔화에 미치는 영향을 지적하며 “하반기 수출 불확실성이 내년까지 이어질 것으로 예상된다면, 정부와 한국은행이 수출현장에서 직접 문제를 파악하고 적극적으로 대응해야 한다”고 말했다.
한국은행의 분기별 성장률 전망 발표 주기에 대한 질의도 이어졌다. 최 의원은 “예측 주기를 짧게 가져가며 투명성을 높이려는 노력은 긍정적이지만, 빈번한 오차로 오히려 시장에 혼란을 주고 있다”고 꼬집었다.
아울러 최은석 의원은 “경기둔화와 고물가 상황에서 실물 경제 회복을 위한 적극적 대응이 필요하다”며 “경기 부양이 시기상조라는 입장을 밝혔으나, 현재의 경기 상황과 물가 상황을 감안할 때 보다 구체적인 대응이 필요하다”고 강조했다.
