한국의 역사와 문화 이해를 돕고, 한국 사회 적응을 지원하기 위해 마련된 행사에는 관내 다문화 가정과 외국인 가정 20가구 40명이 참여한다.
프로그램은 천안 독립기념관 견학과 미션 활동으로 구성됐으며 아동과 가족이 함께 참여하는 체험 중심으로 진행된다.
참여자들은 한국 근현대사와 독립운동의 의미를 배우면서 가족 간 유대감을 높이고, 아동의 자존감 향상도 기대할 수 있다.
